BFSS Hangar and Parking Policy

The Board will assign parking, whether inside or outside hangars, for both club aircraft and private ships.

The Treasurer will maintain a current list of assigned parking spaces inside hangars and outside the hangars, and a waiting list for spaces based on the date of the request.

Members may store assembled or partially assembled ships inside hangars.

Members may store assembled or partially assembled ships inside hangars.

Members may store trailers inside hangars or in two outside locations.

There are two approved locations for outside storage of glider trailers. One location is the Front Line, which is south of Hangar Two. The second is the Back Line, which is south of Hangar Three.

Members should contact the Treasurer for parking assignments.

The Board may reposition or direct repositioning of trailers and assembled gliders when necessary.

Fees are paid one month in advance at full price, or one year in advance for a discount.

Members may keep their space(s) as long as they remain a member in good standing and rent them continuously.

Failure to pay hangar or parking fees on time will be considered as intent to vacate.

A member may rent more than one space (i.e. assembled glider in Hangar Two) and will be charged current rates for the number of spaces utilized.
